A New Jersey native, Jennifer graduated from Penn State with degrees in literature, journalism, and women's studies. She continued her education at UNLV, graduating with a Master's Degree in English. In 2012, she moved to Tucson and began pursuing a Ph.D. in American Indian Studies, minoring in English. Her passion for teaching began as an undergrad, eventually leading to more than ten years of instruction and completion of the UA Certificate in College Teaching. Her current dissertation focuses on the trope of the "ancient Indian burial ground" in the horror genre. When she has free time, Jennifer enjoys running, baking, traveling, rooting for the Phillies, and spending time with her friends and family.
